Gift Registry

Our Gift Registry is great for any occasion. It lets you create a list of items that you would like to receive from family and friends.

Then you can distribute a special 'personal' URL so friends can access your list to decide what to buy for you. Family and friends can mark items as "Reserved" so others will know that they intend to purchase the item.

You can include a description of the item, and if the gift is in an online shop you can even include the URL in your listing. It is even easier to add theTOTALBABYshop's products, simply log in and then browse to the products and click the special "Add to Gift List" button. This way your friends can go straight to the website when they view your list.

Using the system is easy, there are just three easy steps:

1. Register

Just enter the Gift Registry by clicking the Gift Registry button displayed in the catalogue menu:

Then simply register for an account and you'll be able to start creating your gift list right away:

Note: Your use of this free service is conditional on your acceptance of email correspondence from theTOTALBABYshop during the time your account is open. You may unsubscribe at any time.

HOWEVER, we will not use any details submitted for other marketing purposes or pass them to any one else.

The username you choose must be unique or you are asked for another.  Your username and password will be sent to you for safe keeping at the email address you specify.  We will also send news to this address whilst you remain a member of the Gift Registry.

2. Create your wish list of gifts:

Once you register you can immediately start adding items to your gift list by clicking the appropriate button at the bottom of your list. Adding gifts from theTOTALBABYshop is even easier:

IMPORTANT: Each of your item names must be unique.

To enter more than one of the same item please number your items. For example, to enter several sleep suits enter "Sleepsuit #1", "Sleepsuit #2", etc. by simply adding a number at the end of the product description. Otherwise all instances of a product will be treated as one and may then be reserved or deleted together.

Note: Items added by clicking theTOTALBABYshop's "Add to Gift List" buttons are given a random number (`nn) to ensure they are unique.

3. Tell your friends and relatives about your list:

Your personal URL looks like this:

where friends and family can go to view your list.  You can send your personal URL to your friends at the click of a button:

When they visit your personal URL, your friends will see your list on their screen like this:

They can then choose to "Reserve" an item by clicking on the link that says "Available". When this is clicked that item is set to "Reserved".

Updating your List:

Users can log in at any time:

After logging in you will see you personal gift list and have the option to add or delete items as above and to notify more friends or relatives about your list. You will not see which items have been claimed by friends.
